Born in the East End of London, Big T as we call her worked as an au pair in Germany at the age of 16. She moved to the Northeast of England after a year of marriage to her first husband and divorced after 7 years. She has a 27-year-old who she co-parents with his dad whom her son lives with. Tina worked in the health and social care sector for 13 years and is currently a civil servant. Mama T is happily married to her fishing mad husband which she claims makes her a “fishing widow”. Tina is one of those souls you won’t regret meeting, she will do anything for anyone and is always there for everyone. Amy calls Tina “Momma T” as she has been there for her like a mother. Mama T is also our longest standing member, she was at the first group and rarely misses a session.
Tina puts her heart and soul into the group and has from day one she takes care of a lot of the admin work. Much like all our ladies Tina has her own experience of mental health and has had her fair share of struggles over the years but she still wants to help and give back to others in any way she can.
