Will was born in Bishop Auckland but moved around a great deal on account of her being an “Army Brat”, as she would say. She eventually moved back home to Shildon to be closer to her family. Will is a mum and step mum who copes best under pressure, she is currently a Town Councillor for Shildon, Byerley ward and runs a group called P.A.N.D.A.S for parents of children with additional needs. Will herself has children with different disabilities when talking about it she will say “The ABC family” rather than go over all the different conditions faced by her family. Will is an unstoppable force, she moves at 100mph and is very adept at making things happen. Through her various volunteer roles over the years, she has built a network of connections and has a huge heart for her community. Will wants to give back in any way she can, coming to group like most of our facilitators is just as much for her own benefit as it is so she can help that “just one person”.
