Sisters of support have been going from strength to strength in 2024 and the latest news is not even the biggest news they have had this year. Due to the ever-expanding nature of the organisation, it came time to register as a CIC. The group have tried in the past to register as a community interest company and failed on what seemed to be moot points. In July, it looked like they were going to outgrow the “nonregistered charity” status they had achieved just months previously so set out to once again, register with companies’ house to ensure they would be able to secure the correct levels of funding to continue with each of the projects they have undertaken.

With the last day of the month saw the registration finally become reality and this opens some incredibly exciting doors for the group.
