How our Group Runs?

Each week we try to find new ways to engage and help the women, to help instil a stronger sense of self, improve self-esteem and confidence levels. We start each session of going round the group asking what each ladies’ best and worst experiences have been since we last saw them, this allows us to identify who needs some extra help.

In the second half we have four types of sessions that we try to rotate through.

Creative Crafting: The idea of crafting is to give the ladies something to achieve, to keep their hands and minds busy on one task in the hopes of alleviating some anxiety and that the night will provide some of our ladies with some much-needed self-care and will help grow and develop stronger friendships.

Meditation: A volunteered member of the group will lead the group in their chosen form of meditation.

Show and Tell/Outing: We as facilitators are proud of our group members every single day, each hurdle be it big or small that they overcome is amazing. All our ladies are more amazing than they will ever know.  Each member comes to group with something positive to show us.

Speaker: Either a guest speaker (when we can secure appropriate guests) or for a group member to speak. The individual group member would have volunteered and can speak to the group on their chosen topic.

PLEASE NOTE: No member is obliged to take part in any of these sections if they do not feel comfortable, anyone who wishes not too can just watch.
